A new updated version of the FMF software 2009!
The availability of the software will be announced in the coming months, watch the website for information as it becomes available!
Nasal Bone Accreditation
Included in the new software is the calculation of likelihood ratios for nasal bone, absence or presence and tricuspid regurgitation, facial angle and ductus venosus. Currently there is a moratorium in Australia for these features, there are no licensed operators performing them in the risk calculation at the moment in Australia.
The Reference and Assessors Committees are currently assessing an accreditation process for nasal bone which will be announced as soon as possible.
Prenatal Testing Decision Aid
A Decision Aid – Testing in pregnancy for fetal abnormalities
This valuable resource has been developed by a research group in Public Health Genetics located at the Murdoch Children’s in Melbourne it is only available online.
