Log Book Assessment
Nuchal Translucency Scoring Sheet
The scoring method includes:
- An assessment of whether an image is interpretable (i.e. overall
is it an appropriate image on which to measure the nuchal translucency?)
- Each image is then assessed individually on the following:

The major criteria are given a score of either
two (2) or zero (0) points depending on whether the criteria are
fulfilled.
The minor criteria are given a score of either
one (1) or zero (0) points depending on whether the criteria are
fulfilled.
The scores for each criterion are then added up to provide a total
for each individual image.

A total score of 80 per cent = a pass.
If a candiate scores less than 80 per cent, a re-submission of

Demonstration of Scoring Method
Interpretable / Un-interpretable
If the image is considered un-interpretable, it will not be assessed
and will score zero (0).
