NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY

Log Book Submission

Requirements

These requirements are in addition to those mentioned in the regulations for the measuring of Nuchal Translucency, the 11-14 week scan.

  • De-identify all images (thermal and transparencies) - using scissors, cut out the patient's name and site of scan. Please note that blocking out details with texta or similar is not appropriate.
  • Date and time scan was performed to remain on image.
  • Each image in the logbook is to be from a different patient.
  • Images need to be placed in the log book in order of date and time taken.
  • Log book to contain 25 images.
  • Thermal images pasted into an exercise book and numbered - one page per opening. Please see the sample image
  • Transparencies are to be (sticky-) taped inside a plastic sleeve and numbered - three to four images per sleeve depending on size. Please see the sample image
  • Do not identify your log book with your name.
If you know your ID number, record this on the log book - if not, a covering letter will suffice and the Nuchal Translucency Program staff will record your ID on the log book.
The log book and images are to be de-identified for the purposes of un-biased and fair assessment.
  • If there are submission transgressions the log book will be returned.
